Ballet, Acro, Conditioning
Michelle grew up as a competitive gymnast and transitioned into dance where she began extensive training in ballet, jazz and contemporary. She graduated from Ryerson University’s Bachelor of Fine Arts program with a major in Performance Dance. After graduation, she performed as a company member with Cadence Progressive Contemporary Ballet for several seasons before going on to start her own contemporary company, Intrinsic Dance Project. With Intrinsic, she performed works for Nuit Blanche, dance festivals, weddings, fashion shows, music videos, showcases and commissioned pieces across Canada.
Michelle is a highly sought after and well respected Toronto choreographer and educator. She is a member with the Society of Russian Ballet and the Acro Dance Teachers Association. Michelle is best known in the dance industry for her passion, artistic vision and creative, award-winning choreography. She strives to inspire and encourage dancers of all levels, ages, colours, genders and backgrounds to find their passion and express it on stage with conviction and purpose. In her spare time, she is a dance advocate bringing awareness to important issues within the dance industry that will make it a more inclusive place. Michelle is grateful to be able to share her love of dance and she hopes it enables dancers to continue pursuing their goals.

Jazz, Tap, Musical Theatre, Ballet, Conditioning
Originally from Oshawa, Ontario, Kendra began her dance training at the age of two. She studied the ADAPT tap and jazz syllabus for fifteen years, and is an Advanced Two Ballet dancer in the RAD ballet syllabus. Kendra has spent fifteen years competing in dance competitions across Southern Ontario where she won numerous Broadway Bound awards, overalls and scholarships for her Musical Theatre solos.
While attending a performing arts high school for dance and vocal, Kendra became more versatile in different dance styles that are not always taught within a competitive dance studio. Kendra has performed with The National Ballet of Canada, in their rendition of The Nutcracker, she has danced for CTV in celebration of the Olympic Flame being carried through Canada in 2010. She has also appeared on Global’s The Morning Show as a dancer a number of times. At the age of eighteen years, Kendra started teaching dance to children aged 1 ½- 15 years. After a few years of teaching she decided to move to Toronto to focus on her acting career. You can now watch Kendra on the Emmy Award Winning television show The Handmaid’s Tale, the Academy Award Winning movie Spotlight, Netflix’s Work It and many more hit television shows and movies.
Kendra is excited to bring her passion and knowledge for dance, creating, and acting to Momentum DanceArts. She hopes to inspire her dancers to follow their dreams and pursue any goals they might have.
Jazz, Contemporary, Acro
Victoria first fell in love with dance at the age of three. Born and raised in London, Ontario, Victoria spent the majority of her childhood at the studio. Victoria has been trained in many disciplines under RAD and BATD, including jazz, tap, acrobatics, ballet, and lyrical. She has competed across Ontario and into the States from age six, into her University career, where she competed and choreographed until graduation, helping lead her team to multiple victories including two-time Rhythm Cup Championships, Top University Team, and numerous overalls, choreography and performance awards.
After spending four years at Wilfrid Laurier University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and International Studies, Victoria uprooted her life in pursuit of experiencing life in Toronto. In the past ten years of teaching, Victoria has received various awards displaying her creativity, performance quality, and choreographer abilities. Victoria feels extremely lucky to have taught at various studios across Southwestern Ontario and the GTA, and is driven by her passion for dance. Victoria cannot wait to inspire and be inspired by talented and dedicated dancers at Momentum DanceArts!
Matthew Morales is a Toronto-based professional street dancer, choreographer, and instructor. His most notable credits include dancing for the Toronto Raptors North Side Crew during the championship season, the Toronto Argonauts A-Team, TOBi, Feist, Hakim Optical, and The Industry Elite cast. In addition to being a performer, Matthew has a diverse range of teaching experience; having extensive experience working with youth of all age groups and individuals with specific learning and physical needs. His teaching credits include the York Region District School Board Arts Camp, DAREarts (dance instructor in the Webequie First Nations Reserve), and teaching at over two dozen studios across Ontario.
Matthew strives to provide an inclusive space for youth to learn about various street styles and how to express themselves through choreography and freestyle.
