INTRODUCING MOMENTUM DANCEARTS
is Vaughan’s newest and highly progressive
MDA was founded by three dance professionals, dedicated to providing the safest and most inclusive space for dancers of all levels.
With programs tailored to both highly competitive and recreational dance, MDA aims to build foundations, foster creativity, and empower dancers to be the best they can be.
Why choose MDA?
MDA is more than a dance studio, but it a community of support
With a focus on giving students the best chance at success, MDA treats the foundations of dance as Step One. MDA works to give dancers the building blocks to continue to learn and grow
Training & Technique
MDA is dedicated to providing best in class dance training for students at all levels, from Intro to Dance to Senior Advanced in all major dance styles, including Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Acro, and Hip Hop
MDA promises to treat all dancers, regardless of level, race, gender or anything else, equally and provide each dancer equal opportunity to learn, grow and succeed in an atmosphere of acceptance
Dance is an artistic expression, and MDA understands the importance of fostering creativity in an inclusive, judgement-free space. Dancers will be encouraged to create within dance
MDA is excited to be in a facility that allows for small class sizes in two separate studios.
Studio One features new marley floors, full length mirrors, high ceilings, and a full lighting rig – perfect for in-house performances and professional video tapping. Studio One will mostly be used for Intermediate and Advanced classes.
Studio Two features grey marley floors, a big bright window, and surround sound. Studio Two is perfect for Mini and Junior classes and was recently renovated and decorated by The Marilyn Denis Show!
In addition to our studios, we have a small waiting area, designated for dancers to sit, study, finish homework, stretch and socialize between classes, and two bathrooms, one of which is accessible.
Don’t take our word for it – here’s what our clients say:
Victoria was my solo teacher, and I wouldn’t have asked for a better one on one experience! She was such an amazing spirit as soon as I stepped into the studio! She always had a smile on her face that was contagious. Thank you Victoria for all your hard work!!
Ms. Fox (“Miss Michelle”) has taught my daughter ballet and coached her dance team for several years. Her emphasis on form and technique have allowed my daughter to become a beautiful dancer who has been recognized at competitions for these skills. Equally important though, she is a teacher and studio director who emphasizes building confidence, grace and self-compassion in what can be a challenging environment and difficult times. She has acted as mentor, cheerleader, sister, seamstress, makeup-hair stylist and shoulder-to-cry-on for my daughter and her students. We are so fortunate to have had the pleasure of learning from Michelle and she has been an integral part of my daughter’s development as a dancer and a young woman.
