Vaughan’s most progressive
dance studio
MDA was founded by dance professionals, who are dedicated to providing the most inclusive space for dancers of all levels. We are passionate about making dance inclusive from our anti-racist ballet uniforms to our gender neutral practices.
We believe that change in the dance industry is possible and we provide each dancer with the opportunity to learn, grow and succeed in an atmosphere of acceptance.
With programs tailored to both recreational and competitive dance, MDA builds foundations, fosters creativity, and empowers dancers to be the best they can be.

Why choose MDA?
MDA is more than a dance studio, it’s a community of support
Building Blocks
With a focus on giving students the best chance at success, MDA treats the foundations of dance as Step One. MDA gives dancers the building blocks to learn and grow.
Training & Technique
MDA is dedicated to providing best in class dance training for students at all levels, from Tiny Stars to Senior Advanced in all major dance styles, including Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Acro, and Hip Hop.
Progressive Mentality
MDA is one of few dance schools in Ontario that has anti-racist ballet uniforms. We strongly believe in doing the work in our community and continuing to educate ourselves.
Supporting Artistry
Dance is an artistic expression, and MDA understands the importance of fostering creativity in an inclusive, judgement-free space. Dancers will be encouraged to create within dance.
Our Facility
Studio One features new marley floors, full length mirrors, high ceilings, and a full lighting rig – perfect for in-house performances and creating professional dance films.
Studio Two features grey marley floors, a big bright window, and surround sound. Studio Two was renovated and decorated by The Marilyn Denis Show!

In addition to our studios, we have a small waiting area, designated for dancers to sit, study, finish homework, stretch and socialize between classes, and two gender neutral bathrooms, one of which is accessible.
